Can You Use Normal Nail Polish Over Sns Nails

I have simply had a girl contact me, wants acrylics simply with normal nail polish colour on top. I accept only used gelish then far on acrylics. This daughter is adamant she doesnt want gelish. And she has been else where and said they use a normal polish to glaze and then a uv peak glaze x

I use nail shine over enhancements for a few of my ladies. Well-nigh want Shellac for the smoothen and durability only some just can't afford it (and, let's confront information technology, it lasts until maintenance appointments anyhow)!

I don't use a UV topcoat though. I use CND Super Shiney or Lumos.

I use normal nail shine over acrylics every bit VerdePurdy said information technology lasts. I employ Communist china Glaze beginning and last over the top and haven't had any trouble. hth x

I've heard that there were a whole bunch of nail techncians in the South of the Uk who were applying Coloured Bio Sculpture Boom Polish to nails & so locking it in with UV Top Glaze to preclude chipping etc. Needless to say Bio themselves werent impressed & stamped down on information technology... (How they would be able to enforce/follow through with that I dont know, but I do know that this was being washed at some point & it must have been effective ...

You can utilise any Normal polish over acrylics, the polish will final until the next app. I do it on a lot of my clients and utilise a uv top glaze on top.

I often used nomal opi polish over my 50&p enhancements so topcoat (not uv topcat) at the moment I have hard gel enhancements and I accept china glaze on nine nails shellac on ane, both done n same day and both looking good, I always use Lumos over nail polish whether on normal nails or enhancements.

I thought almost people generally used blast polish on acrylics equally it actually does last a lot longer than applying it to the natural nail, just make sure you seal the ends and apply a good top coat such as Seche Vite and they should look spectacular!

I idea that uv topcoat on polish will make it crack. Is this not the instance if acrylic is underneath?

To be honest unless my.lady is a cleaner or a handy woman I don't always use a gel top coat as the smoothen doesent chip as what unremarkably makes the polish chip is the oils from the natural boom plate , you will be perfectly fine to do this and ad had been mentioned yous could put south uv cured top coat over to be prophylactic x

I've e'er used NSI Glaze due north Become with a acrylics and regular shine - no trouble in that location!

Some UV systems have been made specifically for use over polish, do a quick search - manifestly IBD UV Top Coat tin be used over nail polish.

Nsi glaze northward go does make the smoothen crack.

NSI glaze north get will make smoothen crevice on natural nails merely not over acrylics. I don't exercise it on my clients only I do put coat northward go over my own smooth (over my acrylics) so that the acetone etc doesn't go along removing my polish. Just make sure its really dry.

To answer your beginning question, about of my acrylic ladies take ordinary boom polish over their acrylics.... I use OPI polishes which are fabulous and Lumos acme coat which is really glossy and keeps its shine and the polish is always still on two/3 weeks downwardly the line when they return for infills. Then while a couple will pay for shellac on meridian, about don't run across the need and I have to say I don't either, when I expect at how well their shine does.

Can I ask what you lot put on the acrylic nails under the shine ie do you utilize a base coat and also do you seal the acrylic nail with something similar glaze and go before you smooth?
